The “Twin Peaks” star runs on coffee and doughnuts. And afterwards some some-more coffee. There’s no improved approach for Showtime to marketplace a re-airing of a strange David Lynch and Mark Frost array than by digging by a repository and compiling a ton of java references.
Showtime posted a coffee-clip gathering video Sunday to get fans vehement about rewatching a initial dual seasons forward of a debut of a new “Twin Peaks” in May. (Editors’ note: Showtime is a partial of CBS, that also owns CNET.)
The footage plays out like a greatest-hits collection. There’s a famously uncanny line delivered by Pete Martell (played by Jack Nance): “Fellas, don’t splash that coffee. There was a fish in a percolator.” Agent Cooper’s iconic “damn excellent crater of coffee” line also creates an appearance.
The characters sequence coffee. They flow coffee. They splash coffee. They speak about coffee. There’s no new footage here, though a supercut is still a pleasure for “Twin Peaks” fans.
