Three people were arrested and cash, cannabis and 7 pounds of pot were seized when military served a hunt aver on a North Park business this week.
San Diego military pronounced a Sam Coffee Company was handling illegally as a pot dispensary.
Officers served a hunt aver Wednesday during 9 a.m. during a business on Illinois Street north of El Cajon Boulevard.
Lt. Matt Novak pronounced a SDPD Narcotics Unit, in partnership with a City Attorney’s office, is questioning pot dispensaries believed to be handling illegally within a City of San Diego.
NBC 7 has reached out to a Dam Coffee Company to get a response to a arrests and hunt warrant.
Online, a association describes itself as “San Diego’s premier pot common with a twist.” The association offers memberships and giveaway smoothness for orders of what they report as “award winning” and “hand picked” strains.
“Our Motto: Quality over Quantity,” a website states. The company, that connects itself with Amsterdam in a name offers specials for first-time patients and happy hours including one called “Wake Bake.”
DAM Coffee Co. was featured on a map designed and published by NBC 7 Investigates display where protected and unlawful pot dispensaries are handling in San Diego County.
After a map was published, a purported owners of DAM Coffee Co. told NBC 7 Investigates he was not handling a hospital and asked a hire to take his plcae off of a map.
