The newest Australian coffee association to land on LA’s shores is Roo Coffee, a cutely-named storefront with some primary genuine estate right in front of Sunset Triangle Plaza. Roo is officially open for business as of yesterday.
Much like other renouned Australian offshoots to make their approach to Los Angeles lately, Roo is trading in espresso culture and fresh, colorful cafeteria transport of a home country. Owners Elyse Goyen and Tom and Kate O’Connor are regulating Counter Culture Coffee beans (which creates sense, deliberation their vicinity to that company’s beautiful training center), and branch out a parsimonious menu that includes all from those entire avocados to granola to nutrition-loaded super smoothies. The full opening menu is below.
As for a space, design a tiny block footage with large ideas. Pink terrazzo tables offer entertainment space for friends, while white extraneous cafeteria tables let diners suffer a sun. There is no wifi for now though, so devise accordingly. Roo Coffee is strictly open, and is gripping hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily starting tomorrow. Today they tighten during 4 p.m., and will stop doing food many days around 5 p.m. as well.
