Local coffee emporium receives warn $10,000 concession to stay afloat

COLUMBIA — Love Coffee perceived a warn $10,000 concession from a Veterans United Foundation on Tuesday. The nonprofit will use a concession to buy some-more apparatus and ramp adult a baked products sales to stay afloat.

Love Coffee is a local, nonprofit coffee emporium that hires people with disabilities. It was usually open for about 3 weeks before shutting in Mar due to COVID-19. 

It reopened May 14, though faced serious financial struggles—until now.

Love Coffee posted on Facebook about potentially shutting a doors for good final Friday. Now, they can’t keep their doors shut.

“All of sudden, a people of Columbia showed up,” Love Coffee manager David Wilson said. “On Saturday we had a line out to a parking lot, out to a streets. There were dual or 3 of us in here, and we ran out of food by 10 o’clock. It was only amazing.”

The Facebook post has so distant perceived 529 shares, and a post is how Veterans United Foundation pushed to get income to Love Coffee in reduction than a week.
