Harry Potter Cafe Nimbus Coffee Is Serving Lattes and Spells in DTLA

Potterheads have a new end in downtown Los Angeles. Billed as “a place for wizards, witches, and muggles alike,” Nimbus Coffee non-stop a doors on Jun 18.

The cafeteria is not an central Harry Potter property, though some-more of an loyalty to J.K. Rowling’s iconic series, with dainty taste and details. There’s a wall of wands–sure to be a Instagram backdrop of choice–and copiousness of selected books and trunks, along with some quirky portraits of real-life celebrities done over as wizards and witches.

On a menu we can sequence a “blueberry polyjuice” or “strawberry veritas”–or go for a non-wizardy “latte,” done with beans from internal spit Tectonic Coffee. Food is now singular to a fritter case, though additional house-made dishes might come online in a future.

Setting Nimbus detached from some other cocktail enlightenment cafes is this one intends to be a permanent fixture, not a limited-time pop-up.

Nimbus Coffee, 1115 S. Hope St., downtown.
