New coffee emporium takes over former Valley City bank building

VALLEY CITY, Ohio — Coffee In The Valley, a new coffee emporium in Medina County, will applaud a grand opening tomorrow with a $1 coffee understanding and giveaways via a day.

Owners Stephanie and Sean Miller sensitively non-stop a emporium on Jun 13.

“We’ve had some crazy bustling days, and we’ve had some still days,” Stephanie said. “It’s been good.”

The emporium offers hot, iced and solidified beverages, and sells locally done pastries and donuts. A renouned object on Coffee In The Valley’s menu has been a uninformed gelato, that a emporium buys from another internal coffee emporium in a area once a week. The gelato is used to make an affogato dessert, that is done out of a dip of gelato and a shot of espresso.

Coffee In The Valley has a drive-thru, and also copiousness of seating options in a shop. It’s located during 6663 Center Road.

Before it became Coffee In The Valley, a space existed as a PNC bank branch. The bank went for sale in early 2017, and a Millers bought it that year, aiming to renovate a bend into a internal cafe.

Sean, who is an accountant, had formerly owned a sandwich emporium in a Mayfield Heights Cleveland Clinic. Stephanie was a schoolteacher and she had always dreamed of opening a coffee shop.

The dual renovated a space, and recorded a bank’s safe as a small, reservable celebration room.

“We try to keep it good and splendid and lots of windows,” Stephanie said. “It’s a place where we travel in and say, ‘I wish to stay here for a while.’”

The Millers wish to supplement to a menu during Coffee In The Valley, adding breakfast sandwiches and lunch options like sandwiches and salads. They wish for a emporium to turn a renouned place to hang out.

“I wish it to be a place, a community, where friends and family come and wish to hang out,” Stephanie said. “I wish it to be a place where friends can get together.”
