Ingredients

Makes: 12 servings

  • 2 ¼ cups granulated sugar
  • 4 ¾ cups + 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 crater chopped pecans (optional)
  • 2tsp. belligerent cinnamon
  • ½ crater butter (1 stick), melted
  • 1 ½ cups packaged dim brownish-red sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • 1 ¼ cups whole milk
  • 1 crater green cream
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • ¼ crater butter (1 ¼ sticks), softened
  • 3 eggs

Directions

1. For toppings, stir together 1 crater of granulated sugar, 1 crater of flour, pecans (if we confirm to use them), and 1 tsp. of belligerent cinnamon. Next, stir in melted butter to make a unsound mixture. Chill a reduction until needed.

2. For filling, stir 1 crater of brownish-red sugar, 1 tbsp. of flour, and a rest of a 1 tsp. of belligerent cinnamon. Set a reduction aside.

3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 6-qt. enamel-coated cast-iron Dutch oven.

4. Stir remaining 3 ¾ cups of flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda in a middle bowl. In another play drive a milk, green cream, and vanilla.
