Rodents gnaw on packages of coffee in South Florida bagel shop


CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – An examiner with a Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services found rodent issues inside Manhattan Bagel in Coral Springs on Thursday.

A “stop use” sequence was released for a coffee and cappuccino machines, as good as a toaster, slicer and oven.

“All knives, scooper, pots, pans, muffin pans, bowls, all food apparatus attachments and accessories also contingency be spotless and sanitized,” the examiner wrote in their report. 

If justification of a harassment infestation is celebrated on a subsequent inspection, a “stop use” sequence will be released on all receiving areas of a grill and Manhattan Bagel will no longer be authorised to accept additional food items.

A re-inspection will be conducted in or around 14 days.
